A lil busy recently, preparing for my final exams.

I'm going back to Taiwan next sat.. Can't wait to spend time with my family for the entire December and enjoy the winter season there. LOL. Can't help it since mum chose to marry and live in Singapore 21 years ago, I've been deprived of all these taken for granted things that could have been readily available to me if I was born in Taiwan. Haha.

Last saturday me and Ade went for the Bifesta Event or Blogger's Party! Haha, it was fun because we were given a large & generous goodie bag, great food and I learnt alot from the mini sessions on hair hair, makeup, and cleansing (makeup removing).

Haven't blog in a while because I'm so busy with school.

I now know why university is more suitable for JC rather than poly students.

I can't cope in class!

Take statistics for example. One lecture on probability in poly = two-three lectures in uni!!

Everything is covered so in-depth.

I don't have time to go shopping, manicure, movies after school because I live like 2 hours away from school. I just want to go straight home after school every day. I'm so grateful for the new circle line station (Kent Ridge Station) that stops right outside NUH! Haha! Now it takes about an hour to reach NUS from my house!

So Anyway, I've no idea what to update so I'm gonna do a post about the products I'm using recently. So people who've seen my toilet knows that I am a HUGE spender on cosmetics and skin care products. I have around more than 50 bottles and tubes of all kinds of skincare products displayed on my toilet counter. I usually give them to my sister if I don't finish it within a year or if I buy something new. I do not exaggerate when I say I've tried more than 70% of skin care products that's available on the market....... and Watson is my favourite shop. HAHA!

My Favourite Sleeping Mask - Laneige's Water Sleeping Pack Ex

This is the best best best product ever invented by Laneige. Pocket-friendly for students!

I swear my face glows and becomes instantly fairer in the morning! I love the scent (and according to the instruction manual.. the smell of this mask is suppose to help you get to sleep)

My Favourite Moisturizer - Estee Lauder Hydrationist Creme

Part of the reason why this is my favourite is because I did not pay a single cent to get this. Mum bought it for me because she claims that I'm using alot of "nonsense" products on my skin and that is why my skin is bad. I really don't think my complexion is that bad.. it's only bad when I'm having that time of the month. I honestly don't think this is affordable for students.. Its about $92 and it's only my 2nd month using it and already, half of it is gone! I highly suspect my sister is using mine secretly although mum got one for her too!!!!

Nonetheless, this will DEFINITELY be a product I'll get when I grow older. (maybe when I start working)

So I use this with Estee Lauder's Perfectly Clean "Toner".

And this last product is not my favourite. It is just a mask from Korean brand, Nature Republic. I use when I have sudden breakouts.

It's just a soothing mask that works for me.

Ok, before I end. I recently got influenced by my korean-crazy friend in school haha! So i'm addicted to Korean shows and drama now. I just finished watching "Shinee's Hello Baby" and I actually teared in the last episode. What's wrong with me?! LOL.. I WANT TO GO TO KOREA FOR EXCHANGE!!! (maybe?)

I know this blog is dead already. The last time I updated was a long time ago.

Life has been so busy I totally forgot I had a blog.

So for those who are still reading, here's a post on me and Ade's outing last week.

We were suppose to go for a healthy lunch (at Soup Spoon) but we ended up eating unhealthy stuff at a Japanese Restaurant. She always tries to ruin my diet plan!

And after lunch we had Afternoon Tea at TCC..

Here's my thoughts about entering uni this August:

I can't help but feel proud of myself, I've accomplished so much in the past 3 years. When I just entered poly, I remembered that Mum ignored and refused to talk to me for about 3 months. I swear it was that long.. I had to do my own transfer from Yishun Junior College to Nanyang Polytechnic with no support from my mum, I had to settle all the administrative and financial matters with only dad's help. At age 17, I was lost and afraid but I knew JC wasn't the route for me. And because both my parents are very educated people, I guess mum just couldn't stand the thought that her daughter wasn't going to take the JC route. So I went against her wishes and transferred out to poly, not because I was rebellious, but because I knew so firmly what I wanted.

3 years later, I hold a Banking and Financial Services Diploma, I've studied and lived in Europe for a semester, completed two internships at two banks and.. I've been admitted into National University of Singapore. OMG, I can't believe I'm now a student of NUS!!

Haven't been updating because I'm back in Taiwan for summer.

As usual, I'd rather go shopping & spend time with my family (than to be blogging)

Ok, I can't express how much I love Taiwan (cheap masks, cheap shopping, cheap cosmetics, cheap food, freedom, freedom and more freedom).

This is probably the most fruitful trip back to Taiwan ever!!!!

I bought: an entire year's supply of cosmetics, an AUTHENTIC Kitson LA tote bag to use when I start school, 2 adidas jacket for myself & 1 adidas t-shirt for my beloved boyfriend, all kinds of masks and my fav of all - a hello kitty instax mini 25 (which mummy is going to faint when she sees it)!!!!

i highlighted the word AUTHENTIC because I bought my kitson's for $XXX but when I went to gmarket I saw it for only 10% of the price!! Was so upset I wrote an email to Kitson's LA to report (ok, maybe I over-reacted).

Took leave for this and weather was surprisingly good on that day (it was raining for 4 consecutive days before that)

Went for Classic French manicure with Sis today!!

Haven't done a classic manicure in a long while.

We did it at Nail Status for only $21 (students and SIA crew members get 10% off!)

After manicure, Sis brought me for a Birthday dinner at Paradise Dynasty.

We had lots of food and ended up with a huge bill.

Sis was very generous this year with my birthday gift ;)

Oh I love shopping online.

I like their service! Good price and the lady doing our brows was really friendly!

Out with Ade on Monday for Facial/Spa.

Before meeting her I went to the Taiwan Embassy but I couldn't do my visa as it was too early to apply for it!! Wasted trip.

So, at the Spa (I think it's called Beauty Sanctuary), we did the diamond peel and the Sauna.

It was actually a one-person Sauna but both of us squeezed inside together and chatted till we didn't want to get out! haha.

She was suppose to bring me to some dessert cafe but it was closed.

So we settled for something just as good!

Yesterday night went to eat dinner with Ting and Nick.

Then we went to my house's swimming pool to do mask. LOL.

Went for bold colours this year!

Best beauty party I've been to so far!!! Love the people, it was fun, great food and great products!!!! It was held in a very luxurious room @ Marina Bay Sands Hotel!

Product testing! All types of products for us to play around with. From BB creams to 3D lipgloss to eyeliner...etc.

Love the texture of this whitening cream! Three of us tried it out and we could see the difference right away! Cost less than $50 and definitely worth the price!

Spacious and very pretty toilet!

The all in one cleanser works really well in removing make up as well! The liquid was mild on the skin and easy to use!

Scrub was not too harsh for the skin! Smells great!

They let us design our own pouch with glitter, rhinestones, pretty ribbons & all! This brought us back to those art and craft days in primary sch!

I prefer mini parties rather than large ones because in large parties, the staffs can't really be bothered with you because there's just too many people (Like CozyCot's birthday bash). But during their product launch party tonight, Lush Beauty's staff were really friendly and i love the way they planned the evening!

Busy week of project & exams. I can't believe I'm graduating in less than 2 months! What I'm more excited about, is that I'm going back to Taiwan for more than a month this time & my friends are joining me for a week in June.

A round up of everything I want to say:

I'm addicted to gmarket & ebay !!! I even buy food online -.-
I've achieve the GPA I wanted to graduate with.
I no longer sleep for more than 8 hours because of projs!
I've lost 3 kg since coming back from Taiwan last April!!! - OK, not that impressive but a huge achievement for me!
I've just applied for SMU.
I've not been to church for more than a month (which is suppose to be a bad thing, haha)
This year marks the 2nd year that I've been with Edwin (That's a crazy long period of time)
I'm starting to be less tensed up when I eat dinner at Edwin's.
I've not decided what I want for my birthday yet (Driver's license or Kate Spade??)

Less than 20 more days to christmas!

I'm so excited because Mum got me this for christmas! It's under the christmas tree now, I can't wear it until christmas! I can only look at it every time I pass by the living room.

I was expecting starbucks card, but Mum is the greatest!!!!!! Three of us got really good presents from Mum this year. How come no one bought Mum a present???

I think Mum deserves a fab present too!

Btw dad if you are reading, please loan me your beautiful agnes b. bag during my presentation days! and don't say you dislike the bag this time, its the second agnes b. Mum got you for god's sake!!!! thankyouverymuch.

This is going to be a lovely christmas.

p/s. mum doesn't want me to show off the shoes on my blog but I think its really really really pretty!!! and besides, the only people reading are majority family members.

This has become a depressing food blog!

So..

Mum wants to save on winter clothing (which I don't know why? we travel so often especially in winter. Sometimes I think I save better than them) so she got my aunty to ship a couple of winter clothes, 10 bags to be exact, to Singapore. How crazy is that?! And skyp-ing with her reminds me that I should have been spending winter in Taiwan this time of the year. After 19 years of my life, I am still facing cultural identity crisis.

Club21 is having a huge sale now so Mum being a DKNY fan spent her weekends hiding in DKNY outlets around town. She spends money as fast as the blink of an eye. Which is good because now I have more formal dresses to wear and I'm sure no one will be wearing the same as me. (btw, do you know DKNY makes their clothes so exclusive they only make them in small batches?)

Mum made a nasty joke that her budget for my christmas present is 10 bucks. That's so mean. I know she reads my blog so.. Mum I would love to have a starbucks prepaid card this christmas!

Tomorrow is that first report deadline for this semester. Screwed up in my time management and I ended up rushing it like mad NOW. and Mum is not helping by saying things like "You should have done it in the first place, bla bla bla." A cup of coffee would really help! I haven't watched my favourite shows for a week already? How depressing is that!!

My room is so messy now I can hardly find my stuffs. When I need my table I chunk everything on my bed. When I'm ready to sleep, I chunk everything on my table. So finally I had enough of it and cleared my room like I've never cleared it in my life before. I began to throw things like nobody's business. Old cards, letters, books, dying flowers, gifts, labels, pricetag (yes, I have a habit of keeping old price tags...) Everything had to go. (But don't worry ade & eileen, I kept those crazy letters. Those are going to be bedtimes stories for my adopted kids in future)

Times like these (I'm referring to having no life because I'm rushing reports 24/7) I really miss them! I used to just randomly dial a number and someone will pick up to entertain me. Now one is caught up with dancing, the other is so in love I don't wanna disturb her. My only faithful friend is George the Giraffe which is a giraffe bookmark that has never failed me, she sits next to my study lamp and she's been there ever since. So now you know my friendship situation, anyone lonely out there is welcomed to contact me on facebook.

Lastly, The thought of turning 20 next year scares me. The thought of having to stay in Singapore for the rest of my life scares me even more.

Ok Bye. I'm just ranting because tomorrow is monday and my diet is not working out the way I expected it to be.

We're finally approaching Dec once again,

This year we are not going back to Taiwan (I already did in April).

We'll be spending winter in China.

So I accompanied Dad to Chan Brother's Office for the trip briefing.

We'll be flying in less than a month's time.

Of course christmas cannot be compared with the previous two years in Europe,

but still, it's going to be a snowy winter.

So during the meeting, Dad told me he cancelled my supplementary card.

But he didn't say that he got a new one for me until much later!!

I love this card so much better. Black looks more classy than the previous gold one.

Should I get the GV HSBC movie prepaid card???

Anw. Yesterday I had a nice dinner with the girls (Ade, Leen & KL)

Yes, they're the ones who went Taiwan with me during our secondary school days.

HAHA, we are all so mature now!

Latte sleeping in my room again.

she's secretly allowed to come upstairs when my parents are not at home.

But now it's no longer a secret since my mum reads my blog.

So cuteeee. She's snoozing away.

Then there was Reen's birthday on 11 November.

She turned 20!! According to her its the 4th anniversary of her sweet 16.

We had dinner on a boat! It was beautiful.

They rented a pretty white car for her.

Today I went for flag day for mummy's company. Really happy to see all my friends helping out and going all out esp. Jon!! If this was graded he would have gotten a distinction. And nick for exchanging sides w me, haha! Thank you all, I really appreciate each one of you coming down at 7 in the morning.

Tomorrow is the last day of my weekend and I'm not going to just lock myself at home. I'll go Starbucks to read in the morning, then shopping and crystal jade for lunch!

Dad's birthday today!

I bought him a bar of Godiva chocs.

Only manage to snap one photo!

The GPA cut off point for admission into uni is out.

Almost all courses increased this year.

I can't even get into courses that i don't want!

If I can't get into uni, i don't know what I'll do.

I don't have a backup plan, I don't think I can accept it.

I came into poly with a goal of going to uni,

so I can't imagine not going to uni after I grad.

God, I'm so stress.

This was a complicated week for me.

Someone close passed away, Mum's flying off tomorrow to some part of the world that's not safe, GPA cut off increased (before that my GPA was good enough for the courses I wanted), one of my girlfriends just got attached...

I have no one to talk to.

Went to the Peranakan Museum yesterday with Edwin. HAHA. I know so random.

Then we went to eat at Crystal Jade and it brought back memories of me and Eileen eating at Crystal Jade/Ichiban Sushi after school almost every day.

Anyway, met an old school mate at the train station. I think she really changed! She's prettier than before and working already! She seemed really happy with what she's doing.

Watched the Devil movie, and I'm now sleeping in parents room at night.
So don't call at night cos my phone will be left upstairs charging in my room.

Haven't been blogging lately because I sleep at 10pm latest 11pm every night.

3 more weeks to the end of IPP, I can't wait to get back to school.

Uni admission is in Feb, I need to get a min. of B+ for this.

Day started with breakfast at Swensen's w Family.

Then dad taught mum how to drive our car,

because mum kinda forgot how to drive after so long!

Then I went out with my bestfriend eileen teo! No pics cos we always hang out.

haha. We went to a food fair!!!

In the evening, met up w parents for tea.

Mum ordered salmon lasagna.

A little too pricey for lasagna? - $20.

but it did taste different from other places..
